With time I've come up with a design process that works. Here are some notes.

Interview
Every job opportunity starts with a conversation. We get to know each other a bit and we discuss your needs.

Proposal
After we've discussed your needs, I come up with a proposal that is specific to you. Sometimes that means a one price package that includes all the items we will work on. Sometimes we decide you will benefit from an hourly fee.

Design
After we are in agreement with the proposal, I might work on a moodboard. A moodboard is a simple visual document that gives the client a feel for the direction I'm going. It includes images and keywords that communicate the concept, style, and possible color scheme. I'm inclusive with my clients and like making them part of the journey.

Research

A big part of my process is research. They idea is that we don't repeat and that your design is unique, expressing what you want to say as a business or individual. I enjoy learning about your business or craft, immersing myself in your world and making it visually accessible to your target audience.

Always researching and keeping the creative juices flowing. Not sure what Liam is smelling here, the smell of history?

Connected

I will present you with options and will always think of the bigger picture, for both online and offline solutions. All while keeping your timeframe and budget in mind. Sometimes I will be able to supply you with all you need, sometimes I can point you in the right direction if your project needs skills other than mine.

Other things I like to do

Word play

I like to play with words' meanings, with their history, sounds and shapes. I love tools like Visual Thesaurus and use it almost always when I'm brainstorming.
